I knew the Dodgers wouldn't go too much further.
Like I said when they won the division - no matter what they did in the playoffs, we had that one glorious half-inning.
That, to me, was the heart of baseball beating stronger than it ever had. For a moment there were no egos, no salaries, no unions and no owners. There was only the pure joy of a team winning for its adoring fans.
I'm still glad I was there to see it.
