A note to tomorrow's candidates

I don't care whether you win or lose:

Come Wednesday, you'd better get your people out there and TAKE DOWN YOUR SIGNS.

I'm tired of your faces, the faces of your kids, your slick taglines, your overzealous use of red, white and blue, and your cheesy graphics - whether they be Xs or checkmarks or that Ghostbusters circle with the line through it.

And if you won, get some new signs for next time instead of pasting "Re-elect" next to your name.

I'm not kidding.

Any signs up past November 15th will be subject to some sort of humiliating revision.
